Accountable to Senior Planning Engineer.
Objective:
To evaluate and estimate the Customers Specification and produce Refit Documentation reflecting customer and company requirements. Assist with the development of Networks/Schedules and Materials Sub Contract requisitioning.
Evaluate, estimate and clarify the customer specification using WDS2 (Artemis) Computer System.
Assist with the development of the Refit Quality, Safety and Security Plans.
Establish Drawings and Document requirements.
Produce pre refit job orders ensuring that the requirements of the Quality, Safety and Security Plans are met and formal distribution is made in line with Planning and Refit Schedules
Evaluate the requirements of the Hull & System Surveillance Register, Material Acquaint, Weapons Equipment Delivery Programme, Class Modifications, Nickel Alloy Bronze Register and Pipe Laundry etc.
Assist Systems (Information) Manager with the development of the Planning and Refit Networks/Schedules.
Assist with the development and submission of the Refit Tender with particular respect to work clarifications and estimates.
Raise Bills of Materials using drawings, IPCs, BRs and CRISP, ISIS and CINCOM Computer Systems.
Conduct Quality Self Audits as nominated in accordance with operating procedures.
