Marina Sominsky has over 10 years of combined project controls and information technology experience in the construction, semiconductor, transportation and government industries. She works as IT Project Manager for the Arizona construction firm, Kitchell Contractors Inc. (KCI). Marina currently manages several cross-functional team efforts, which resulted in reducing clerical time of Engineering & Architectural Services group (EAS) by 10% per week, and allowed to present critical project information in a single real time dashboard view for KCI’s executives. She is also leading in 4-D Building Information Modeling (BIM) - graphic simulation that improves construction solutions for KCI’s clients - and IT resource planning/allocation efforts.
Marina is a certified Project Management Professional. She joined the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) International in 2008 and currently serves as the Vice President for the Arizona Section.
She is the Chair of AACE International Women in Project Controls Committee. Marina received her BS degree in Chemical Engineering from KU, Laurence, Kansas.
