Currently
My role is to lead of team of planners covering both Track and Civils activities reporting to the client LU for projects on 3 No lines on the London Underground Planning portfolio worth £400 million pound.
As part of my development in planning I have covered the following aspects:
- Development of 7.5 year review period programme to level 4 (activity level) including resource loadings, cost profiles and project controls using Primavera P3ec.
- Development of construction programmes to level 4 (activity level).
- Cost loading and resource loading construction programmes.
- Earn Value Management - Reports included Schedule and cost variances and EFC details.
- Possession Planning.
- Lead planner for a £40M project that ran for 40 consecutive weekend closures completing 11km of tube works.
- Developing workstreams.
- Project Controls.
Planning Manager include the daily running of both Track and Civils planning teams, strategic decision making for the focus of future works, communicating plans to implementation managers and improving project control methods within the delivery group.
Personal Profile
A self-motivated, competent and organised person, with a solid background in project management and planning. Possessing a wide range of skills giving the ability to deliver results on time and within budget. Having a good sense of humour, the ability to communicate comfortably at all levels and happy to work both as part of a team or autonomously.
