Abstract:

The Recommended Practice for Forensic Schedule Analysis (RP/FSA) is a technical document published by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering, International (AACE).

Forensic schedule analysis refers to the study and investigation of events using Critical Path Method (CPM) or other recognized scheduling methods in connection with the resolution of delay claims and potential use in legal proceedings. It is the study of how actual events on a project occurred in relation to a planned schedule for the purpose of understanding the significance of deviations from the schedule.
