(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?
(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.
I'm looking to update 17.12 to 21.12 but concerned about losing the license since I have no idea where it's stored - it's a bit opaque in comparison to the SSO software I'm used to. It's been years since I installed it as well so can't even remember if I was greeted with a prompt asking for license information?
I've downloaded the 21.12 installer from Oracle Software Delivery Cloud (I tried my old account but cannot get in, nor is it sending any password reset emails) so I just created another account.
I'm guessing on the 1st screen on the installer I should keep the install as "Typical" and keep the "Replace existing version" ticked under "Previous versions of Primavera P6 have been detected"
Then on the 2nd screen "Run Standalone Upgrade Utility" and "Run Standalone Database Migration Tool" Do I need to do anything else? Is there a way to extract the license information? Thanks.
