Hi All,
This question has already been asked before but I haven't been satisfactorily answered.
I'll start with a clarification/condition first as it might be helpfull in not receiving the same answer to the same question: I'm come from Primavera P6 scheduling background enforced by market conditions where P6 is specified in the contracts; Primavera P6 must be used as a scheduling/planning tool.
Having said that; I'm not quuiet clear exactly what the thread titles says:
- What additional knowledge and set of skills are needed for a P6 planner to migrate to BIM 4D
- Where do one starts
- What tools/software is needed
- Any available and recognized training/certification
I'd appreciate it if more light can be shed on the subject matter; it seems like wehere ever I turn to; someone wants to demo a product for me and I end up where I started; no answers!
Thatnk you.
Rami
