Sacramento International Airport Modernization Program: Dec’10 To Dec’11

Assisted project controls manager in managing schedule related functions for this program..

Projects included:

  • 365,000 SF Terminal Building:                         $390 M
  • Baggage Handling System (BHS):                    $50 M
  • Passenger Loading Bridges (PLB):                    $15 M
  • Multiple Art Work Exhibitions:                          $10 M

 

BP Refinery:Jul’ 07 To Dec’10

Responsible for scheduling of different Capital and Turnaround projects.

 

Amylin Ohio LLC: Apr’07 To Jun’07

Responsible for planning and scheduling of the commissioning schedule for the pharmaceutical client.

 

Responsibilities included:

     

Develop and maintaining resource loaded schedules for assigned projects. Supporting the development of resource loaded construction schedule by other construction contractors.

Develop schedule logic in Primavera to efficiently execute scope of work and resource levels the plan.

Responsible for performing schedule analysis to ensure that the process and procedures detailed in the Scheduling Process have been applied.

Work with TAR Planner / Discipline Lead Engineers to develop the schedule and logic path.

Issuing the required schedule and resource reports from Primavera to Project Control Manager, Team Leads and Construction Contractors.

Implemented new earned value and KPI reports to track the execution of project.

Preparing and distributing the 3-shift look-ahead reports for the daily shift turnover meetings during execution.

Review and validate schedule status updates.

Performing required data queries and generation of the required reports to create Key Performance Indicators.

Responsible for executing schedule what if scenarios, performing an analysis and reporting on the results.

Develop, maintain & periodically issue associated progress curves, completing estimates, earned value, etc.

Responsible for schedule quality aspects and completion status, prepare lessons learned and close out documents.

Reviewed & evaluated contractor’s monthly updated schedule & narrative reports to ensure compliance with schedule specification requirements from client.

Updated and maintained Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

Prepared narrative reports such as critical path review, improvements to critical path, 4-Week look ahead schedule comparison, 90-day schedule narrative for management.

Performed progress verification walk down with project managers and contractors to ensure that schedule progress is as close to actual construction progress.

Monitored project’s progress and coordinated periodically with the owner, contractor and manufacturers for the verification of project’s progress.

Coordinated with different contractor for different areas like the Terminal building & Baggage Handling System regarding Time Impact Evaluation, Time Extension and Delay Analysis.

Assisted architectural project manager regarding the preparation and monitoring of art works related schedules to ensure on time completion milestones.

Support cost management activities. Responsible for the preparation of project quarterly cost reports.

Prepared the commissioning schedule based on priorities set by different process units, weekly updating the schedule, identifying the critical activities and highlighting it during weekly meetings, prepared one week look ahead and tracking the progress during daily meetings.
