Senior Planning Engineer,seconded to ChevronOffice, Lagosin Nigeria

 Principal Accountabilities:

Provide overall project schedule, progress measurement, and change management leadership and expertise

• Participate in kick-off meetings with the EPC contractor and PMT to ensure common understanding of planning, estimating, reporting, and change management requirements
• Cooperate with teams and post audit activities with respect to project services functions
• Advise the EPC contractor's organization with respect to Project controls tools and reports and contractor's efforts in schedule
• Assist in Change Management

Supporting PMT and Schedule Stewards with ongoing project schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting, and Change Management

• Develop / maintain integrated schedules for internal review purposes including analysis, forecasting, and management reporting
• Assist Project Controls Lead as and when required
• Maintain ongoing schedule opportunity /vulnerability database

Monitoring and appraising the performance of Contractor's Site in the areas of progress and schedule control.

• Examine and evaluate the Contractor's schedule control organization, plans, performance and procedures
• Work with Main Contractor to ensure schedules meet the requirements of the Client and Control Expectations
• Assist Main Contractor where necessary with scheduling and controls function; provide data to contractor to aid in scheduling efforts
