- Establish programme strategies/method of construction
- Prepare & analyze tender programme.
- Estimate man power and plant & machinery requirements
- Estimate formwork / scaffolding requirement
- Participate in final settlement meetings to put together a competitive tender
During Construction Stage:
- Manage a team of 5 Planning Engineers and 5 Performance Measuring Engineers
- Produce a project preliminary programme & preliminary project control measures
- Prepare programme management & performance management procedures
- Develop contract programme (20,000 activities) and agree critical paths with PMC
- Develop & publish construction Information release requirement schedule
- Nominated / Domestic supplier and subcontractor procurement schedule
- Provide concise schedule and planning requirements for inclusion in bid packages
- Evaluate responses to the same from bidders
- Review project performance internally with the project team
- Prepare & submit Fortnightly /Monthly Progress Reports to the PMC
- Attend progress review meetings with the PMC
- Monitor sub-contractors’ progress, provide exception and recommend actions
