Current Role - Senior Planner / Scheduler

A civil engineer with over 15 years’ experience working on construction and infrastructure projects such as open cycle power plants,recycled water, dessalination,waste water plants and has worked as a planning consultant for top and middle tier contractors in Australia. For the past nine years I have focused on planning and scheduling on a wide range of complex projects that also includes residential and commercial buildings.

I been instrumental in the successful delivery of many complex projects (to name a recent few) the Western Sydney Replacement Flows Project, Hunter Water Upgrade, Bootawa Water Treatment Plant, the Ellanora Waste Water Plant, Solomon 1 Power Station (EPC) and the Tamworth Westdale Alliance (sewer augmentation). 

For the past four years, I have specialised in scheduling and planning for UGL Infrastructure - Water & Power division and is currently the business’s senior planner.

develop baseline schedules which ensures the estimated budgeted hours have been included in determining the overall duration of the project, this is done by taking into account client scope, contract conditions (in terms of planning), logic, sequence, risk and opportunity contingencies,schedule health check and the construction methodology to prepare a schedule to reach an efficient and achievable outcome,

proficiency in preparing project controls plan and implementing earned value management techniques that ensures the project has an user freindly,graspable performance management system applied,

prudently believes on the following actions for effective controls

• to develop a baseline program that accurately represents the schedule scope of works.
• to develop project control plan that clearly establishes physical percentages matrix & rules of credit for all desgn,procurement & construction activities. 
• frequently monitor critical paths and advises the project team where to focus resources & advise mitigation measures
• frequently monitor CPI & SPI  for effective controls, this is done by amalgamation of SAP,estimating package & P6 on different levels of established WBS codes
