Planning Manager, SITA, Dublin Airport Terminal 2

SITA employed me to manage the plannning associated with the £36M Specialist Systems works at Dublin Airport, Terminal 2. This involved planning of the design, procurement, installation, systems integration, and commissioning & handover phases. Particular attention was paid to the Airport critical systems of CCTV, Access Control, Security Search, and the new US Customs and Border Protection (SITA bespoke system) Baggage Image & Location System.

  • Construct and continually develop the programme framework, methodologies and logic.
  • Providing planning support for SITA project team and their Sub-contractors.
  • Updating the schedule and report internally on a weekly basis (client requirement).
  • Direct interface with MACE/ARUP Planning Staff and Construction Managers, and with other Trade Contractor Planning staff.
  • Providing Forensic Delay Analysis to SITA commercial team for claim purposes.
