Site Engineer from 1994 through 1996 & Scheduling Engineer until 1997, in charge of planning, scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of engineering and construction activities. Supported several EEI Engineering & Construction Projects using Primavera system computerized CPM methodology.
Duties
•Responsible for wide gamut of activities entailing planning & establishing Master Construction Schedule (Level 3) in Primavera and confirming Project Budget & comparing it against tendered prices.
•Concept development through turnkey.
•Prepare procurement and construction master schedule plan from Level I to III.
•Monitor physical progress actual on site activities during contract execution and highlighting delays.
•Analyzes variance in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate earned value information,
•Recommend/proposed mitigation plans to schedule/cost impacts on delays,
•Coordinate with procurement and warehouse for ETA dates and material availability.
•Participate in project progress review meetings and coordinates with counterparts in concern services.
•Coordinate with respective Contract Engineer/ Manager on day to day running of the contract in terms of progress, delays associated with the works.
•Identify all required resources to each activity.
•Prepare 3 weeks look-ahead schedule for meetings with the field construction team, and ensure overall schedule compliance.
•Manpower resource loading for S-Curve & Histogram.
•Ensure that schedule changes are input on timely basis.
•Prepared and Coordinated shut-down and tie-in schedules.
•Reviewed Sub-Contractor’s schedules, claimed progress for verification of monthly invoices.
•Capably synchronizing all the activities related to main Contract Administration.
•Focusing on drafting subcontract agreements/conditions of sub-contract (general & particular) in line with FIDIC 1987 Red Book.
•Prepare and discuss all Extension of Time claims (EOT).
•Successfully setting-up of Progress Monitoring System including implementation of Time Impact Analysis window analysis technique.
•Effectively monitoring plant utilization for all projects and preparing Project Status Report, Time Impact Schedule / Delay Analysis, etc.
•Reviewing contracts and advising on risks, preparation of variation order and delay claims, proving and pricing of various claims
•Prepare daily/weekly progress report.
•Distribute reports.

•Provided on-site management and quality control to ensure projects met time and budget requirements, and were built in accordance with contract documents.
•Endorsed as Site Engineer to work on project management side to supervise for the two large projects at the same time, namely, R1 Toll Expressway and Asian Business Park reclamation projects
•Scheduling Engineer in charge of developing & statusing detailed engineering & construction schedules for A&E works to the existing 29 nos. of elevated MRT stations (C1261C). Add facilities such as lift, linkway, etc., to make MRT station barrier-free for the handicapped and disabled, which worth 1.6 Billion Dollar
