Common Cannon Ammunition Project:
Support to planning the project and setting up a project controls office. Managing the interactions between this project and the project timescales of Warrior Commonality Sustainment Programme and Medium Armoured Tracked Team. This involved programme timescale risk analysis for all 3 projects.
Defence Lines Of Development [DLOD] Programme Management Support:
Design & Implementation of the Programme Management framework across the whole FRES Programme (including all 8 Defence Lines of Development: Training, [Fielding], Personnel, Information, Doctrine & Concepts, Organisation, Infrastructure, and Logistics). This included the Performance Management and Reporting Framework construction, using balanced scorecards that could be adapted and tailored to from the 1* Programme Boards down to the separate project level reporting systems. Provision of direct support to DLOD owners in collating their schedule, risk, assumptions & cost data to be reported up into the Medium Weight Programme Board and across the programme, assisting the new level of capability planning for the Land Systems area of Defence.
Specialist Vehicles Assessment Phase: Provision of specialist programme management support to the Specialist Vehicles Programme Manager. This involved governance and assurance of 2 teams of the MOD Systems House consultants work with regards to planning, scheduling, risk and assumptions management. Designing, revising and implementing the Project Control System and Processes. Input to Assessment Phase Investment Appraisal Board Business Case in preparing the risk and schedule data and conducting analysis to provide 10/50/90 views on timescale and cost. Undertook an SME role in gaining external programme assurance & scrutiny buy in of the Business Case to DGS&A and the Defence Equipment & Support Through Life Programme Management cell. Gave direction and support to the management board to enable key decisions for the Specialist Vehicles section of the programme.
