April, 2009 Mace International Ltd is one of the largest Project Management companies and currently managing developments worth in excess of $ 20 Billion over several prestigious projects in the Middle East. At present I am working as Senior Planning Manager / Senior Project Manager for some of their projects. Some of the projects I have participated in are as follows which include initial development, design development, procurement of contractors, construction, claims etc.:
• Mudon : An upcoming project of Dubai Properties in the Dubailand comprising of villas, down town, infrastructure etc. It is one of the major developments comprising of app. 3,500 townhouses/villas, 6,000 apartments, 18 hole Golf Course, 10 themed hotels, 5 distinct town centres themed after Cairo, Damascus, Baghdad, Beirut & Marrakech, a number of public facilities. The overall development is spread over an area of 680 ha. I am involved in this project since January 2006 and currently one of my prime projects. The construction only value of this project is approximately $ 13 Billion
• Bahrain City Centre : A major development in the Kingdom of Bahrain with 500,000 sqm of multiuse commercial development consisting of a mega mall, water world, cinema multiplex, two major hotels among others for Majid Al Futtaim Invesments.
• Deira City Centre Major Redevelopment : A major upgrade for perhaps the busiest mall not only in Dubai but entire Middle East. The works consist of construction of a new chiller plant, a new car park over the existing structure, major renovation and redevelopment of the existing mall complex.
• Tabreed Bahrain : District cooling project for several major projects in Bahrain
• Muscat City Centre : Expansion of the present mall complex
• Riffa Views : Development of a major housing complex centered around 18 hole golf course in Bahrain. It comprises of app. 900 villas, public buildings, infrastructure and a 18 hole golf course.
• Aqua Dunya : A spectacular project in Dubai Land with app. value of $ 2 Billion comprising of a 5 star hotel in shape of a ship anchored in the “desert port”. A water based theme park, housing complex, a second 5 star hotel as a Port hotel, infrastructure etc.
• Mall of the Emirates – West side Hotel (Kempinski Hotel) for Majid Al Futtaim Investments
• The Villa @ Dubailand for Dubai Properties: A unique project of Dubai Properties with approximately 2,000 premier villa plots, public facilities, infrastructure development, landscaping etc.
• Fairmont Residences & Hotel at the Palm for IFA – These are premier residences in two buildings with the hotel in a third building in the middle.
• Mirdiff Villas & Mirdif Apartment P-100 & P-101 for Dubai Properties. It comprises of approximately 6,000 apartments and villas.
