Key roles is to provide an effective project planning, project coordination and reporting system for the entire construction of the Medupi Power station.

Project Planning
     Maintain and manage the development, implementation and execution of the planning process.
     Liaise with project team on the status of the project schedule activities and deliverables.
     Updating project schedule with project commitments.
     Ensure schedule acceptance with the necessary stakeholders.
     Develop a logic driven schedule.
     Monitor and asses any deviation from the baseline schedule.
     Conduct Work Breakdown structures.
     Resource planning with time phased resource requirements.
     To flag all dates that are not going to be met by reporting them to the senior management of the project and ensuring that all contingency plans are in place.
     To ensure that all critical path dates are highlighted to senior management and plans are put in place on time.
     To liaise with the contractors in ensuring that all of their updates are received on time and Primavera is updated within the agreed timelines to reflect the schedule update from contractors.
     To practice Project Management within the planning environment by ensuring that the Project Methodology is adhered to and the Project Charter remains the focal point in the driving of the Project.
     To create and update a Project Risk Analysis and update the Project Risk Register as the Project progresses.
     To ensure that the cost is aligned with the schedule and constant monitoring and ensuring that the schedule and the budget are in sync.
