Responsibilities
• Integrate company’s vision, mission in strategic business planning, and facilitate implementation thereof to achieve objectives
• Analyze strategy impact & market challenges to enable management realign strategies to remain on targeted growth path
• Set measurable goals, performance metrics, and project execution plans, in conjunction with cross-functional heads
• Leverage new technological avenues in consultation with management to build competitive edge in business acquisition & delivery
• Define resources and performance matrix against annual business plan to achieve short & long term business objectives
• Identify and assess major deviations from set KPIs, and assist in closing performance gaps to keep up with benchmarks
• Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices within department taking into account best practice, changes in international standards, and any changes in business environment
• Deliver BU’s budget and monitor expenditures against plan to help management track cost and revenue
• Capitalize upon potential cost saving opportunities in target areas to improve financial performance
• Coordinate with overseas partners, work on MoUs, JV and Share Holding agreements for partnerships, strategic alliances etc
• Liaise and interface with Government agencies to promote business. Partner with new developers/concessionaires Developmental Projects (PPP Projects)
• Collaborate in entire pre-bid activity for RFP submission comprising Pre Bid Query, Request for Qualification (RFQ) & Design coordination at pre-bid Stage with consultants, necessary coordination with stakeholders to finalize Bid
• Analyze & manage Risk at pre-bid Stage, and participate in pre-bid risk reviews with BU Head
• Manage all programs (pre-bid due, diligence, bidding, procurement, contracts execution, etc.) as per business plan
• Best-Fit Urban Transport System: Analyzed in detail 8 different urban transport systems for 10, 15 & 20 KM stretches to propose best-fit urban transport solution under various traffic levels, alignment, Funding options, with and without VGF.
• Developed guidelines for selection of financially viable transport solution based on traffic demand under PPP mode
