Site Project Manager / Contract Negotiator / Integration Manager, EDS Consultants, UPKEEP and QMG Desktop & Server Rollouts and Infrastructure
·Part of the EDS Bid Management Team, and personally responsible for all five main sites with the Civil Engineering sub-contractor. A successful £14.5m bid was concluded and the MOD contract awarded to EDS and multiple sub-contracts then negotiated with various sub-contractors.
·Responsible for Work Management, Health & Safety and Security issues of all team members (including all sub-contractors) whilst on my Site.
·Monitoring, control and status reporting of the Programme Plan and Site Project and Stage Plans.
·Regular monthly, weekly and daily meetings and reports with/to Clients, Suppliers and Management.
·Inspections and Acceptance of Civil Works, External and Internal Cabling and Cabinets.
·Managing and controlling work with/near hazardous materials (Asbestos and Explosives).
·Responsible for managing Server and Workstation rollout, including training and floor walking.
·General Site Installation Management: Initial Planning; Site Audits/Surveys; Prepare Contractual, Project and Quality Documents; Liaise with MOD and Local IT staff; direct and instruct 3rd party Site Support staff (ICL system engineers); hardware stock control; additional server software/patch loading; workshop and on-desk installation and workstation software loading; Site Acceptance.
·Audit and agree Legacy Systems to integrate, and set up test machines. Arrange LAN access to various Legacy Systems and load System client software; load emulation software; configure accesses and connections and keyboard mappings; Manage Users to test Systems.
