After completing a 3 ½ year advanced apprenticeship (with 1 year onsite as a mechanical fitter apprentice) I moved on a planning career path at AMEC. Starting in the design department using CAD skills I had learned during my HNC I was exposed to the initial phases of a project. 12 months later I moved into the planning department where I started building schedules working closely with the planners, estimators and QS’s.

In 2012 I was promoted by amec to a Planner.

A graduate of MS in Civil Engineering (1985), a Certified MS-Project, Primavera P6 and PCM Professional User, Internal Auditor to ISO-9001, Construction Site Safety, Certificate in Practical Use of the FIDIC 1999 (Red & Yellow Books), Member of Lebanese Body of Engineering (Beirut) since 1985 and Internal Auditor since 1995, married and presently working at Nael and Bin Harmal Hydroexport Est (UAE) as a Planning and Controls Manager.
