As part of the Guild of Project Planning Controls and Delivery, we have created a Collaborative Building Information Modelling (BIM) Group. We are keen to meet and discuss BIM with members of our community. As this is our 2nd Meeting, we would like to discuss BIM Case studies.
We are arranging some key people within the industry that will help us in our endeavour to understand BIM in order for us to be the Masters of the advancement of BIM in our professional roles as Project Planning, Project Controls and Delivery people.
As some of you may know, BIM is having a profound and complimentary effect in our profession, most notably the fourth and fifth dimensions (note from Editor - what is the fifth dimension!!?).
At the this meeting, we will aim to discuss, share and advance our skills in this arena. To do this, we have to have an open mind and see where BIM is going. Some of us have a lot of experience and some have none at all, so, at this meeting, we will discuss project case studies and what is good practice and what is not.
Entry is FREE and open to all professionals wanting to understand how we can all harness and benefit from the power of BIM.
