I dont like to see Planning and Scheduling topics diluted by overall Project Mgt issues. Planning to me is key and central to effective Project Mgt. Too often it is pushed to one side and neglected by the Professional Project Mgt bodies (APM/ PMI) where it only forms around 25% of their Bodies of Knowledge. This is where Planning Planets real strength is - the key to our knowledge base is Planning.
By all means lets embrace the wider Project Mgt issues - but ensure that we maintain our core strength of Planning.

My view is to keep two seperate catagories.

Thats my view - do others agree/ disagree? Guy
