As Project Controls Cost Analyst/ Estimator at GVU Building specific duties and job responsibilities include:
Estimating for tenders:
– Prepare estimate and budget analysis (including indirect cost and overhead cost) for general contracting of future investments (i.e. office building, residential building, commercial complex, road rehabilitation);
– Analysis of the offers from various specialized subcontractors for including their offers in the final tender
– Prepare the project schedule and estimated cash-flow for the tenders;
– Survey visits to the place of the future investments and preparation of the visit report;
– Presentations of the final offer to the investors and/or its consultants and participate in negotiations.

Planning and coordination of the mechanical and electrical works (not limited to) of the “Adevarul Typography”:
– Daily and weekly reporting to client and its representatives reflecting the manpower by discipline, accomplished work during the period, next week look ahead tasks, weather conditions of the period, major materials and equipments received at site;
– Conduct the weekly coordination meeting with the mechanical and electrical subcontractors;
– Periodical check of the executed works and approval of the subcontractors invoice for payment;
– Monthly preparation of the payment situation to investor for the executed quantities according with the contractual unit rates and for the extra works agreed;
– Verify and approve of the documentation (technical specifications, warranty certificates, UE Certificates, technical agreements for assets not produced in EU) submitted by the subcontractors for the equipments and materials required for the execution of the project. Verify the equipments/ materials received at site and their attached transportation documents;
– Cost analysis of the executed works versus the budget and forecast the remaining works including the extra works requested by the client;
– Verify the mandatory certifications, licenses and acceptance certificates of the subcontractors to be able to perform specialized works (i.e. control access, med-high voltage, grounding and lightning laboratory certification, pressure tests);
– Convoke and coordinate the site inspections with the Government Construction Agency, designers and client’s representatives on specific milestones defined in the detailed design for obtaining the technical approval of the executed works required to continue executing the project;
– Mitigate and reconcile the various inadvertence between different disciplines (i.e. alarm fire detection with HVAC and sprinkler systems, control access with architectural elements-doors, general interconnection of the electrical works with mechanical works);
– General site coordination and supervision (by rotation with the other colleagues);
