Position: Lead Planning Engineer
Role: Work within the Business Planning Group as the focal point for a distributed team of Planning Engineers located in Dubai Petroleum’s Operations, Projects, Production and Drilling groups to put together the high level Strategic , Business and Development Plans.
Duties / Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that Planning Support is provided to all Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Logistics, Procurement and Business Planning activities across the Company, by;
• Focal point for Planning Engineers distributed across the departments, ensuring their competence, performance and reporting standards are to best industry practise within the organisation.
• Development of the appropriate software platforms (based in Primavera P6) and databases, together with efficient integration thereof. This includes an organisational integrated longer term business plan.
• Ensuring that there is effective communication of Plan implications across departments (Development Group, Projects, Operations, Drilling and Production and Procurement)
• Directly responsible for the top-level strategic management plan for resources and milestones.
• Creation and implementation of an organisational manpower resource plan.
• Ensuring that planning and Scheduling Performance management Tools / KPI’s are implemented in all key areas at a strategic level and monitored and reported to management.
• Ensuring that the right level of Critical path analysis, monitoring and challenge is applied throughout the Company.
