Amazon has a free Associates program as well as a separate, but complimentary web services interface that allows you to sell stuff from Amazons inventory as an affiliate and earn a commission.
We have been trying to sort out Quake Quake for some weeks now. Rather than simply delete him and let him return as someone else, Jason has been trying to track him down.
On the subject of Amazon - I know little of what that entails. I’ll go have a look and see what is involved.
On the subject of recruiters - we will create and label called "Planning Recruiter" and will try to ensure that if they do not choose this label, one of the guys will make the change for them.
Hope this helps. James
Update:I have just called Christian who advises that the Quake Quake man has the same Ip address as www.leadingproject.com. Sounds interesting.

Should we perhaps allow vendor reps to contact the PP team and create special user titles for them indicating their vendor status (as opposed to the civil/petrochem/etc. titles available for the regular membership)? This might help the regular membership put their comments in better context...

Any freebies for the Planning Planet ? I suggest this should be our stock response to such "advertisers".
In a similar vein, James, any thoughts on having Amazon Affiliate status or something to generate some "cost covering" income ?

OK.
I happened across similar posts from one time posters at eng-tips.com and tek-tips.com. IMO, its definitely an ad campaign to raise awareness.

This one seems pretty tame. I feel that it adds value to inform people of new software.
I draw the line at listing out all of the features. Then it becomes an advertisement.
