If you go to the task information box for this "milestone", under advanced tab there is a check-box called "Mark task as milestone" If this is checked, the task will appear as a milestone on the gant chart even though it has a duration, % complete, resources, etc To correct, you can choose to either uncehck this ox and treat the task as an activity, or set the duratino to zero and treat it like a milestone.
