Because I have worked in the Far East for such a long time my first imspression is that the person is male at work and (dresses) female in the bar! Theres a name for it but I had better not write it here!!
Needs some thought. The rest of the message just goes off the radar of normality.

Finally got a reply from Scarllet on this. s/he was not very enthusiastic about loosing the fake name:

Scarllet,
I noticed you have an earlier PP account under the name Maria Elena Edar.
Did you perhaps lose the login details for this account, and hence created your Scarllet alias? If so, I can ask PP admin to reset your Maria Elena Edar password, and merge the posts from both accounts so you can go back to being Maria again.
We try to discourage multiple accounts, and fake names on PP, as we have had problems with people in the past abusing the system.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Gary

Dear Gary,
Refer to your post, I’m really not Maria Elena in the first place. I’m Mario in the morning when I worked and I’m Maria Elena in the evening when I go out for the nightlife. So I don’t know who am I.
So I don’t find any difference if I’m Mario, I’m Maria Elena, Scarlett Pimpernel.
I could even be Zorro, Peter Pan, Harry Potter, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, etc.
For as long as I read and agree with the forum rules, I really don’t find it a problem.
Please continue to be the Moderator.
Thank you,
Scarlett

I think R. Catalan fulfils the premise of a real name, its the people who login with the obvious pseudynoms that are the issue, e.g Scarlett Pimpernel.
Plus, its obvious by the tone of Catalan posts that he is not only real, but quite knowlegable and helpful.

Hi All
Having read the response I rather like Scarlet’s style and the threads are often worthwhile.
I have only just noticed that the Gary / Scarlett exchange was in the open forum - whoever he/she is the guys got balls.
I don’t recall any fuss when Smiling Shagger was on the scene.
I would suggest we leave things alone unless we get dozen’s of copy cats and then the rules may have to be changed.
Best regards

I think he makes a fair point that multiple profiles are not against the forum rules, and as long as he abides by the rules then whats the harm.
That said, I cant see a good reason for having multiple profiles, or for using aliases that isnt nefarious.
-Maybe a simple solution would be to change the rules so that multiple profiles are explicitly banned?

Hi All
I would like to leave R.Catalan out of the list.
I discovered what R stands for and I can understand why he would not want it broadcast.
Best regards
