Kvaerner John Brown Planning Engineer

Working on the New Zealand Refining Company (NZRC) ’A’ Block Revamp at Marsden Point, New Zealand.
Responsible for the progress and co-ordination of planning of four main sub-contracts as well as NZRC’s own maintenance and cleaning activities.
Early civil and pre fabrication progress of the piping contractors was monitored utilising Excel spread sheets in the form of a Contract Summary Programme. All the contract summary programmes were used to report project progress.

Shell Project Controls Manager

Tasked with leading a small Planning Team to plan, progress measure and report on a US$225M bio-pharmaceutical facility in Hillerød, Denmark.
This role involved leading a team of individuals to co-ordinate with the Project/Construction Management Team, Designers, Senior Leadership Team and sub-contractor organisations, as appropriate.
My role on the project also meant that I was continually advising on project process, strategy and decision-making.
