As earlier suggested you can use the log record, however the shortcoming of this method is that you will have to manually enter the percentage complete in the log record for each activity every time you update your schedule.



The best alternative is to format the bar labeling to display the percentage complete against the bar. This method is automatic i.e. you do not need to enter the percentage complete manually each time your schedule is updated.



To do this go to ’Format’ select ’Bars’ (in the window make sure the early bar is selected i.e the bar that displays your progress) click on ’Modify’ select ’Label’. Here you choose the position to display the percentage complete (since you want it at the bottom you can choose from ’Bottom’, ’Bottom left’, ’Bottom right’)under ’Data’ select ’Percentage complete’. You would also the sample of the data to be displayed at the end in a window provided.
