The best way to learn and use P3 batch program is using the p3input file stored under p3out directory. For example if you want to add wbs or activties do the function or operation on a project and you would see p3input file generating a file with this functions.use it and edit with your real input data and run prmbatch program. It should work.
thanks,

I appreciate your frustration, it took me quite some time to master Batch.
Every line has to have exactly the correct number of spaces etc, but it does work. I usually export a sample and then import.
I do find the spreadsheet from Primavera easier to use and very quick, it is found under Solution ID: 200252492644.

I guess you are going to send me the activity.xls files.
I have that file already thank you.
I would like to use the batch program to input large quantities of data as I think it is faster.
I dont know about Ra.
I also guess disabling the visual update of the activity.xls macros while running will considerably speed up the code.
still, Batch does not work!
What am I missing? what is wrong in the files in the first post of this thread?
why would a batch file import not work? another obscure P3 quirck?
graaaaa. help! its flustrating and starting to eat a great deal of my time.
Gün.
