It looks like this thread died back in 2003, but I have a similar question:
Im still using P3-3.1 and the various date formats available in this version dont accomodate the ISO 8601:2004 format (namely yyyy-mm-dd). Do newer Primavera versions provide this or can I add it to 3.1?
Ideally Im looking for 2005-DEC-13, but 2005-12-13 would do.
Advice appreciated! Thanks.
Charles
Dear Mr R. Winter,
I am very sorry if you are offended to my reply to Mr Gilbert, but i dont meant that Gilbert advice is wrong hes right...but the point is its not the answer to what im asking for. anyway im very sorry again if i offend to someone..
Thanks for the advice i got it...
Regards,
Guest.
Dear Guest,
When someone goes out of their way to help you, you should first try listening, then complaining. Not the other way around. Gilbert is perfectly correct in his advice. It is now up to you to implement his advice. Your computer Windows defaults have nothing to do with the date format displayed in P3 schedule.
Open your P3 project, select the “Format” menu, select “Dates…”, and then click on the date format you wish. Click “OK” and you are done.
Thanks Gilbert...
But what i need is to add a date format on my
P3 not to select a date format...because the default
date format in my P3 is all numeric...
I need to add a date format which i wish to use
too before i can select..
hope somebody can help me...
thanks,
Rad Japan.
Well, from p3 click format, dates then u can select
format u wish to use.
