For S curve, check the discussion on http://www.planningplanet.com/forum/forum_post.asp?fid=1&Cat=2&Top=31037.
Hi all,
i have made a mistake in the data date entry and now the result is correct.
After entrering all my progress till date, how an i get the progress cure i.e. s-curve?
vasudevan
Vasudevan,
Go to File and Project Overview and you should see the project start date and the data date. Hopefully you now know the difference between them.

Vesuduram,
I think your link for each activity is not proper.
Please check and let me know.
Cheers,
Charlie
Further to earlier discussion on Data date:
If all its predecessors are completed, the earliest date an activity can start is on the data date.
So it appears your data date is even earlier than the Actual start date of your activity 1. Instead of F9, if you had pressed the schedule button, P3 will generate a schedule report which will show you (in P3.out file) what irregularaties were there in your programme information.
Data date is the last date progress was recorded in terms of actual dates, % complete, remaining durations, and/or actual quantities and costs.
Start date- which one? Early Start date is when an activity can start earliest. Late Start Date- the latest date when an activity can start without delaying the project. Actual start date - when the activity actually started.
can any one tell me difference between data date & start date?
Vasudevan
ur relation is FS right? in ur case the predecessor is finished so the sucessor will come come to date date even before the finish date of ur predecessor i think u made mistake of not shited the data date cheak the data date !!! ( must be actual finish date or the date of actual entry)
Hi Vasudevan,
I suppose, the data date of your project is earlier than the Actual Start of this activity. The activity is finished, so it ignored by scheduling. As the activity does no longer exist, its relationships are ignored as well.

Dieter
i put actual start and actual finish bu a tick and also i put 10 daya lag in FS relationship.
Still i am getting the same result
did u tick actual start and actual finish( if the activity started and ended as planned ) or u put actual start and then put 100 % complted , and as mr. rodel noted did u put a 10 days lag on a FS relationship
Did you put a lag of 10 on FS relationship to the next activity?
