Thanks Geoff
Jan,
I think one of the best things to do before you get too deep into P3 is get a good understanding of Critical Path Analysis and Resourcing. What this will do for you is be able to understand what P3 will do to your schedules and then you will be able to understand why you get certain results.
The biggest help you might need with P3 is on effective report writing so that you can get the info out of P3 quickly and easily and in the right format.
Cheers
Geoff
Thanks Rey
hi JAN,
maybe try this things to learn p3:
1.0 try to get a mentor to teach you the tricks and trades of P3......
2.0 if there is no available mentor........try to make a sample project and apply the WHAT IF SCENARIOS....... what do i mean by this? try to experiment on the different options that primavera can do...........start with the basics.....
in doing this if you encounter any problems post it here and people are willing to extend any help that they can provide.......
OK BUDDY. GETS!
THANKS A LOT
You could learn it through "SELF STUDY". Try to look for books pertaining to PRIMAVERA. You could also search the INTERNET. Important is, you know how to do scheduling and planning manually. Take note that PRIMAVERA software is just a "TOOL". Cheers.
