Solution ID: 200252492644 on the Primavera Knowledge Base has a spread sheet that may be used without the loading of RA and is quite simple to use.

hello,

you can also use the activity.xls and project.xls files to retrieve and update the dictionaries.

the excel files are in the cd’s.

I understand that you still have to copy the RA files to your c though. the macros are nothing further than a frontend to the RA.

working with excel is flexible and RA filters the data while importing to P3 so that nothing very obvious messes with P3 database.

Hope this helps.

Just a small addition to what was said.

RA is the right tool to use.

When you install P3 RA is not automaticaly installed.

You have to locate it in the CD and simply copy it to the P3WIN directory in your computer/server.

Take a look in RA - it contains a lot of helpfull samples not just for the subject mentioned.
