In Suretrak, I think you must change the activity type to "Independent", in P3 I don´t remember now, but there is something similar with other name.

Anyway, I think the cost will be the sum of eight hour of one resource with the nine hours of the other (if both work on the same activity).

Thanks a lot ... but read again:

Dear friend,

why dont you try to create two different calendars.one for 8 hrs a day and the other for 9 hrs a day.

I hope this will help.
