changing Activity ID using global change

all the activities ID begin with ،°CM،± and in each activity with it own activity code named ،°MAJC،± (Major Code). Please use global change function to replace activity ID with first character ،°C،± and follow with the major code and serial number. Use the global change function to replace them.

Hi this is simple, create a code cale TEMP with a length of 10, and export this to a dbf file, then insert the new IDs in this field and import. Thereafter do a global change

U can refer to previous Post Thread... in Primavera Project planner - P3> renumbering activity ID
Be extremely careful when changing activity ids!
Using Global change, from memory, the syntax is something like
actid="A"&actid (to insert an "A" as a prefix)
You may need to run the trim function as well.
If you can be more descriptive of your problem, perhaps better advice can be given.
If you dont mind waiting...? Ill just call Raja...(he got the answer I suppose).
