Another way. Make a copy and assign it as a target to the current working schedule that has an error. I have tried this and the bars appeared again.

I did a lot, i think there is no solution to this problem. You can only copy paste your activities in new project. Or you should contact the primavera dealers.

this is the problem...the early bar data could not be save in the bar box after i close and reopen again. Even i use pfxw.exe also not change the problem ,what i do is create new file ...import all your data including relation to new file

1. before import data to new file

2. after import data to new file

see in the bar box

Three options to see bars in progarmmes



a) Check time scale

b) Check Page set up dates i.e adjust start and finsih

c) Check in Modify Bar Definition , show status

if the time scale is there, just go to the time now, by clicking on the button to go right. this happens and can be corrected by date settings

Good that you got the bars...



But my suspect is that you lost the bar because of lot of columns oocupied on your right screen, try to put down your cursor to the lower right end, near the vertical column and you will see the cross indicator, then drag it to the left and your bars will-re-appear.

1. Virus in the PC...

2. Insuficient memory space

3. Row height of the activities not enough...

4. P3 have to re install again.

Hope I got your name right, just try the followiwing, hit the window menu, and then vertical bar. then just pull the bar to the left

I do not understand your description of file names with plus marks and question marks above them. How can a file name have a plus mark above it?



Go to Windows Start button and select "Run". Enter the following into the file name box and then press the run key;



C:\P3WIN\P3PROGS\PFXW.EXE



Once it is running, click on the Help button for more information.

Did u check your page setup and Time scale ? Just in case...

It sounds like your layout file is corrupt. Before putting the bars back in, I suggest that you run the program PFXW.EXE that is found in your C:\P3WIN\P3PROGS directory. Select your schedule and run all options.



To restore your bars, select Format / Bars. Click on the “Visible” selection bow for the type of bars that you would like to see.



Other ‘problems’ might be that the bars section is hidden. Look to the small black bar to the right of the horizontal scroll tab. Click and drag this little bar to the left to reveal the barchart portion.
