Tracking , updating and analysing the planned programme of works for the relocation of more than 1 Km 33kV transmission line

I functioned in the role of a Lead Project Controls Engineer for Brtish Gas Nigeria E&P on their just concluded Drilling Campaign with SEDCO 702. My primary responsibilities was to prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) with other Well engineering team and seek management approval, also liaise with, JV partners, government agency for final approval.

I also reviewed and loaded adherence contracts into SAP, developed contract Work breakdown structure (WBS) in SAP, created Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders for management approval.

While in Shell Nigeria E&P (SNEPCO) my role was Lead Cost/Planning Engineer on the Bonga Main Integrated Projects, a thirty- two (32)-Well deepwater development, which pioneered deepwater exploration in Nigeria. My portfolio included cost estimating, control and planning for Bonga phase 2, Bonga North-west and Short Term Infield opportunities (STIFO) wells. My responsibilities included development of various levels of schedules, and participation in contract evaluation from pre-qualification stage through final award.

I participated on different projects as Project Controls engineer, key projects are highlighted below;



A.Kaduna Refinery & Petrochemical (Turn Around Maintenance)-USD214Million



Lead Project Controls Engineer

21 projects were executed under the KRPC TAM

I was involved in preparing the final cost estimates for these projects. Other functions performed were;

•     Construction supervision

•     Cost Estimating

•     Prepare and updating schedules

•     Develop Project controls procedures for Chevron Engineering Service Agreement Contract.

•     Preparation of Business plans, and annual Budget.

•     Developed Level I – IV detailed schedule for various projects

•     Developed WBS for projects. Use SAP to control cost and invoicing processing

•     Perform schedule/cost risk analysis for projects

Lead Cost/Planning Engineer

I participated on the following projects as a cost/planning Engineer

•     ASASA uplift Pipeline Project

•     ETIM ASASA Development Project

•     USARI Pressure Maintenance Project

•     Intergrated Activity Planning focal point



Responsibilities include but not limited to :



•     Prepare Level I – III project schedule using P3E, MS Project

•     Support for preparation of Proposals and tender documents for Design, Construction, Installation and Procurement Contracts.

•     Support in the development of Project Execution Plans

•     Support in project monitoring and control.
