PLANNING ENGINEER

Duties & Responsibilities

• Scheduling & Monitoring of the project- recording the progress,
• Prepare hourly program for critical construction phase.
• Prepare monthly, weekly, daily look-ahead programs,
• Prepare Resource Histograms, KPIs,
• Work out weight factors and generating Progress S-Curve,
• Identify critical path and critical activities,

Projects

• Runway Resurfacing Project – Bahrain International Airport - $ US 19 million

·           Develope, update & maintain contract & construction programmes

·           Establish and maintain the overall project plans, processes and procedures.

·           Produce periodic progress reports (Weekly & Monthly)

·           Cost control (Cash flow & Earned Value analysis)

Experience of planning and project coordination in large scale EPC / LSTK projects in Oil and Gas sector

Planning Engineer at BAE Surface Ships, Portsmouth dockyard.

Planning the change aspects of the new QEC aircraft carriers encompassing resource, schedule, cost and materials.

• Planning & Cost control
• Establish baseline programme
• Prepare budget
• Monitor progress and expenditures
• Produce monthly progress report
• Produce monthly cost performance report

Provide assistance in new job preparation to Project Engineers.
