Planning Engineer, Chevron Joint Operation in Wafra, Oil & Gas Sector

- Preparing Project schedule in Gant Charts and PERT/CPM using Primavera 3 & 6 Project Planner or Microsoft Project software.

-Preparing schedule to assist project engineers to raised Project Budget Proposals & AFE’s (Authorization for Expenditures)

-Prepare, develop, coordinate, and integrate all levels of plans and schedules based on Project Engineers information.

- Review and advice acceptability of Contractor submitted Planning Package including proposals for Engineering, Procurement & Construction planning system and reporting.

-Interface with Project Managers / Engineers / Procurement / Construction to secure progress information to up-date the project schedule.

 -Ensure schedules are progressed objectively according to project procedures.

- Handling planning & scheduling work for Project & Facility Engineering Group.

- Using Primavera Software to Maintain critical path diagrams and analysis of program to ensure project target dates are met.

-Create, monitor and maintain project plans in line with company/project owner requirements.

-Review Assess & analyze Contractors submitted baseline schedule to insure the schedule is all accordance to contract & as per Chevron Joint Operation Policies.

- Assess & analyze Contractors monthly progress report if there are changes or deviations to the baseline schedule and raise any issues to project management team for appropriate action.

- Review and assess contractor’s variation(s)/claim(s) pertinent to schedule impact.

-Assist review of contractor’s invoices by verifying actual progress/milestones achieved in line with relevant contract provision(s).

- Preparing Monthly Division & Operation Reports.

- Prepare assessment reports of Contractors Submitted schedule in the Tender Bids.

- Attending weekly/ monthly project progress meeting in Project & Facility Engineering Group.
