- Responsible for issuing of payment notices to reflect the work completed on site.
- Ownership of all commercial issues on site and report to senior QS located off site with a schedule of information and an estimated cost for potential impact to the project.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly valuations to the client for payment and review with cost consultant EC Harris before formal submittal.
- Involvement in compilation of the cost value reconciliation (CVR) by assisting the senior QS in identifying the actual cost of work completed to date.
- Resolving contractual disputes with subcontractors including payment issues and scope creep. Meetings with the subcontractor team on a regular basis to ensure issues are closed out in a timely manner.
- Preparation of site reports for client meetings including providing material samples for inspection.
- Taking off of materials and elemental areas on dimension paper.
- Assist in the preparation of bill of quantities for estimating in the tender process.
