Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

hi everyone,

I’ve searched through the forum and didn’t find what I was looking for...
maybe you can help me !

I’d like to run a global changes series as I used to do in P3.
I’ve got a dozen global changes to run, repetidly, and I’d like to run all of them at once.
in P3, I used to assign a series letter to every global change and then run the series.

is there a way to do this in P6 ?
I think not, but there’s always hope !

thanks,
djo

**** Sales pitch *****

We have a replacement for global change that uses the API, does not require any extra security privileges, allows data from ANY Primavera tables to be used (e.g. one global change can use data from the Activity table and Resource assignments table), and has batch - even unattended batch - run capabilities.

Johnny,
I normally use series of Global change numbered or alphabetic but unfortunately you need to run it manually in P6.
