Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

I am looking for a method to add columns to a P3 programme. I know I can use Custom Data Items but I would require more than eight. I wish to enter numeric/% figs in these columns.
IE Data from 2 weekly updates.

George

Hi there

How many user defined fields do u have spare??? if u have enough u could create several and then do a global change on a weekly basis that says %comp = Field a (which corresponds to week 1), Field b - (which corresponds to week 2 etc)

Hope that helps

regards

Bradley

Many thanks, I already do that but I wanted to be able to display these on the P3 layout.

The most obvious way is to export P3 activities to Excel or Lotus and then add as much columns as you want. Another option - for advanced users who are familiar with DB design is to use InfoMaker.
