Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Hi All,

Can someone please help me?

I am trying to create a column titled Finish Variance CL14 and Finish Variance Last Period. I have successfully created these but don't know how to edit it or enter the formula to show me the variance/difference in the columns field.

Currently the fields are empty when I add the columns.

Please help!

Regards,

Patrick

Patrick,

If your CL14 programme is saved as the Project Baseline, and your last period programme is saved as the Primary Baseline, then just insert the existing columns "Variance - BL Project Finish Date" and "Variance - BL1 Finish Date" (found in the durations group)

Then you can edit the column titles to mention CL14 and last period

No need to mess about with custom fields and formulaes.

Cheers,

G
