Tips on using this forum..

(1) Explain your problem, don't simply post "This isn't working". What were you doing when you faced the problem? What have you tried to resolve - did you look for a solution using "Search" ? Has it happened just once or several times?

(2) It's also good to get feedback when a solution is found, return to the original post to explain how it was resolved so that more people can also use the results.

Producing a programme for multiple rooms - Intended stagger 4No. rooms at a time with a weeks stagger.

If the intended sequence has inevitable changed during the course of the progress update how would you "keep" the intended stagger (e.g. for resources) once the "stagger activities" - the activities common in all rooms on the critical path used to link one room to another) have been completed and the remaining activities "stack up".

To overcome this problem I have identified a number of "stagger activities" throughout the programmeto ensure that once 1 stagger activity has been completed the remaining activities do not completely stack up.

The activities after the completed “stagger activity” up to the next “stagger activity” will stack up but will show varied float to the next stagger activity.

After every reschedule the process of re-linking etc is a lengthy process, is there a way you can level / constraint resources so that the programmewill automatically ensure the 4No. rooms are achievable?

Many Thanks

Another method that I tried;

Linking the stagger through a milestone at the end of each room - reschedule to the latest date.

This will ensure the stagger remains however all of the float will disappear?
